Highland Packers is a family business that was started by my uncles when they first came over from The Netherlands in 1957. Please come and visit. Our store also has a bakery, deli and cafe where we make home-style meals. We work closely with local growers. In our store we focus on selling Canadian meat and local produce. You can also buy roasting pigs from us to roast yourselves. We have our own sausage kitchen and use natural wood to smoke our products. We bring in the livestock that gets processed into steaks, bacon, sausages, burgers, roasts, hams and more. Highland is a meat processing plant under the inspection of the Ontario government. In 2005 I became the owner of Highland packers and since then, together with my wife and now also with our 4 children and the whole staff are actively involved to run this business. In 2002 my cousin, who was then in charge, added the current store to the facility. On behalf of my family and staff I say "thank you" Marinus de Jonge.
